I am aiming to walk the length of the River Thames from its source at Thames Head to the Thames Barrier in London, some 213 miles, over a period of two weeks. It will mean walking around 15 miles a day - not quite a Royal marines "Yomp" but quite tough enough for me! I am 62. All funds raised in the UK will go to support Marie Curie Cancer Care. Here I will be posting news and photos of how I'm getting on. Wish me luck!
